Hi. I’m Sylvia. I am an artist, educator, advocate, story-teller, and noticer. I have long been passionate about finding interesting shapes, textures, and compositions; essentially finding accidental art in my day to day life.

I am calm in the messy beauty of nature. I love the vulnerable strength of industrial landscapes. I collect found, metal, wood, and other oddities.

I have a background in education and co-curricular support, all of which is seen in how I approach ideas, learning, and my community. Likewise, it has influenced my art practice and themes.
